I have saved enough money to study abroad but I have a question about how to use money or take it with me.

For example, when I arrive I have to pay for my program registration, insurance, accommodation, materials and more, in addition to the small expenses of daily life for which it is important to have money on hand.

So my question is how do I move my money from my country to the other to be able to use it, I think it would be very complicated to always pay commissions when using the cards.

Thank you for your replies in advance.

You do not need to hold money in a foreign account where your college is based. If you have money in your account back home, you can fund your study abroad through money transfer services such as MoneyGram.

Using a service like MoneyGram can help you fund your bank account abroad so you don’t need to use your local bank in a foreign country. Many students use MoneyGram today.

Their commission is much lower than other transfer services. It also depends on which country you are sending from, and the amount you want to send at a time.
