    Hello,

I want to apply for digital marketing BA Top Up in University College Birmingham with my HND in mass communication. Is this a good and direct route for Masters? Please if it’s not someone should help me with a better route

Yes, you will be considered for admission at University College Birmingham (UCB) to study for their digital marketing BA top-up degree.

They require “120 ECTS or equivalent (European Credit Transfer)” which is equivalent to two years of full-time study at a recognised university. Since you have an HND from Nigeria, assuming you studied for two years, you would have fulfilled this requirement.

Also, check out our article on using your HND to gain admission in the UK

      Thank you, Morand!

So, after the top-up which is suppose to take 1year, do I have to apply for masters or am I automatically enrolled for masters

Application for masters degree after completing a top-up is optional. You will be awarded a bachelors degree after completing the top-up. You can get a job with a UK bachelors degree.

Also, note that you will be eligible to apply for a Graduate Visa after your top-up degree has been awarded. The graduate visa will allow you to stay in the UK for two years to find a job after you graduate.

However, if you want to continue to study and do a masters degree after your top-up, you will need to apply for it.
