Communications Engineering Personal Statement Personal Statement Example 1

I am old enough to remember the days before the internet when we had to type out our emails manually. These days, everyone can just hit send, but back then, we had to wait until someone else sent us an email, so we could read it! Today, we can do everything online – shop, pay bills, chat, play games, or anything you can think of.

But what if your computer broke? What if you lost your password? Or worse yet, what if you couldn’t access your account? That’s why I have built my website. You can log into my site whenever necessary without worrying about losing any information. And best of all, it’s completely free.

I often worked at the Special Need Department in Heathfield Community college, which specialised in autistic spectrum conditions. I had spent much of my spare hours helping the school’s summer celebration, which aimed to show off the pupils’ talents. My main objective was to create a short video that could be used during the performance, including the pupils with more severe difficulties who couldn’t participate on the night.

After shooting the footage, I edited it and inserted special effects in the school’s media suite. This year, I am planning a database system to allow the staff to access information quickly for my ICT AS Level Project. I have also been spending lots of my spare hours at the talking newspaper association UK which transfers magazine articles and stories into an audio version for the visually impaired. In addition, I’ve been assisting with various tasks and observing the recording and cutting processes.

In the past 12 months, I have worked with clients interested in developing their online presence through social media networks such as Facebook and Twitter. I have helped them create profiles, set up blogs, pages, and update existing ones. I have also advised on how best to promote these services to attract new customers.

As computing continues to evolve, I keep up with changes in the field by reading articles and watching conferences. I have been following the O2PC (One PC Per Child) initiative for some time now, and I am interested in applying maths to real-life situations. I recently attended the Maths in Perspective event at London University, where I heard talks from people applying maths to real-world issues. And I was impressed by the New Designers exhibition at the SW museum earlier this year.

As an extra-curricular activity at my school, I’ve assisted the Philosophy club with sessions involving discussions about Artificial Intelligence. Communications Engineering is very interesting because it relates to creating interfaces that allow computers and users to communicate smoothly. My other interests involve the design of Augmented Reality and Haptic technologies.

I’m interested in various aspects of life, including music, literature, film, and arts. I love reading and watching movies, listening to music, playing games, surfing the internet, and learning new things. I’ve been playing the drums since I was 5 and play in a local rock band. In addition to drumming, I’ve been working on writing short stories and poems.

My favourite author is William Gibson and his book “Neuromancer”. I also really enjoyed the movie “Top Gun”. I also like to draw and paint, mostly landscapes and nature scenes. I also do photography and take pictures of people and places around me. I like to travel and explore new places. I love snow skiing and snowboarding. I would like to learn how to surf and go whitewater rafting. I would like to try out kite surfing too.
